ALAPPUZHA: New details have surfaced in the Dineshan murder case in Vadackal, Punnapra, revealing a gruesome act committed by Kiran. Neighbours describe Kiran as having a "criminal mind" and possessing extensive knowledge of electrical systems. Dineshan, a friend of Kiran's mother, was electrocuted by Kiran at his home.

According to police reports, Kiran used an electric wire from the house to initially shock Dineshan. To ensure Dineshan was dead, the body was moved to the yard, where Kiran shocked him again with another electric wire. The body was then dumped in a field. Authorities conducted an evidence collection process with the accused. Police further stated that Kiran's father was aware of the murder but concealed the crime.

Dineshan's body was discovered in the field the previous day. Initially, locals assumed he was merely intoxicated and sleeping. However, when he remained unresponsive until noon, they alerted the ward member. Upon closer inspection, they found him dead. Noticing injury marks, they contacted the police, who confirmed it was a murder. Kiran was subsequently taken into custody. Police claim Kiran committed the murder based on suspicions that Dineshan was having an affair with his mother.

Dineshan's daughter revealed that Kiran, along with his parents, attended Dineshan's funeral and remained present throughout the funeral. She said she had not suspected anything at that time.
