KOZHIKODE: More allegations have been levelled by the girl against Devadas, the owner of the hotel and accused in the Mukkom rape attempt case. The survivor said Devadas used to send her lewd messages even when he was on a tour with his wife. Every time she left work; he used to apologize and reiterated that it would not happen again. However, she alleged that his behavior was still the same.

Her words
‘The first time he sent me lewd messages was when he was on a tour with his wife. The message was that he was interested in a physical relationship with me. I then left the job and went to my house. He texted me many times, saying sorry. He said that he was suffering from piles and needs surgery and requested me to return to work. When I said no, he showed me his underwear soaked in blood and said that if you don't come, he won't go to the hospital.

I conveyed the matter to my mother. I went again after he begged me. Everything was fine for a while. I used to go to the beach occasionally with two of my male friends after duty. They used to come home occasionally. Devadas didn't like that. He spoke to me rudely saying, ‘you have an issue only if I ask.’

The police are seeking the custody of Devadas, hotel employees Riyas and Suresh remanded in the case.
