THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The RC books of vehicles will go completely digital from March 1st onwards. RC books are being made digital instead of being printed. As part of this, the transport department has also issued some instructions.

This month itself, all vehicle owners should ensure that their RC and phone numbers are linked. The phone numbers that are linked to Aadhaar should be provided, said Transport Commissioner H Nagaraju. He clarified that the numbers can be updated either on their own or through Akshaya Kendras. The RC book can be downloaded from the Parivahan Vahan website within an hour of purchasing the vehicle.
