The Malayalam trailer of Saaree, a film presented by renowned director Ram Gopal Varma, has come out. The movie marks the debut of Aaradhya Devi (Sreelakshmi Satheesh) as the lead actress, who gained viral fame as 'saree girl' through a photo shoot on social media. Ram Gopal Varma has penned the script, while Ravi Varma is producing the film, and Girikrishna Kamal is directing it. Saaree will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam.

The film narrates the story of a young man's obsession with a woman draped in a saree, which eventually takes a dangerous turn. The tagline of the movie is 'Too much love can be scary'. The cinematography is handled by Shabari, and the cast includes Satyayadu, Sahil Sambhryal, Appaji Ambarish, and Kalpalatha. Saari is produced under the banner of RGV RV Productions. The film's editing is done by Girikrishna Kamal and Perampally Rajesh, with background music composed by Anand.

Ram Gopal Varma discovered Sreelakshmi Satheesh through an Instagram reel. For the film, RGV renamed her as Aaradhya Devi. Saaree is set to hit theatres on February 28.
