KOCHI: A woman unleashes violence towards the police in the middle of the road at Palarivattom. The incident happened late last night at Palarivattom Samskara Junction. The woman attacked the police in an inebriated state. She vandalized the police jeep.

The woman smashed the glasses of the police vehicle. Praveen of Palarivattom, and Reslin of Kozhikode were taken into custody in the incident. Both were drunk. The police said they obstructed the execution of their duties and damaged the police vehicle.

Praveen and Reslin attacked passers-by near the Samskara Junction and threatened them with knives. The police reached the spot knowing this. When they caught 23-year-old Reslin, she argued that only a female cop could take her into custody. Meanwhile, the woman smashed the window of the police vehicle with her mobile.
