THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan will inaugurate the 137th consecration anniversary and Mahashivratri celebrations of the Aruvippuram temple. Sree Narayana Guru installed the Shivalingam on 1888.

The meeting which will be held at 6.15 pm will be presided over by Sree Narayana Dharmasangham Trust President Swami Sachidananda. Minister V N Vasavan will be the chief guest. Kerala Kaumudi Chief Editor Deepuravi, Dr. Shashi Tharoor MP, CPM District Secretary V Joy, Sree Narayana Guru Open University Vice Chancellor Dr. P V Jagathy Raj, Railway Passengers Amenity Committee Chairman P K Krishnadas, MLAs C K Harindran, Chandy Oommen, District Panchayat Member V S Binu and Swami Sandrananda will participate. The Shivaratri festival lasts until the 26th.
