THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Just days after news surfaced about ragging brutality in Kottayam Nursing College, a similar complaint reached the police about ragging in Government College, Kariavattom. Bins Jose, a first-year student of Biotechnology, has filed a complaint against his seniors alleging ragging.

An investigation by the Anti-Ragging Committee and the police, based on the complaint, confirmed ragging in the case. The complaint is against seven third-year graduate students. In the complaint, Bins said he was tied up in the unit room by seniors and was badly beaten.
