TORONTO: A Delta Air Lines jet with 80 onboard crash-landed at Toronto Airport in Canada. The plane that crashed flipped upside down leaving 18 injured. Initial reports said the accident was caused by strong winds.

Endeavor Air Flight 4819 which arrived from Minneapolis with 76 passengers and four crew members, crash-landed. Authorities said that three of the injured are in a critical condition. The injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals. No casualties have been reported.

There was heavy snowfall in eastern Canada on Sunday. Toronto is also experiencing strong winds. Many flights have been canceled due to these reasons.

Federal Transport Minister Anita Anand said that necessary measures have been taken in the accident. Ontario Premier Doug Ford confirmed that there were no casualties in the accident. The Transportation Safety Board of Canada announced that an investigation team has been deployed to the accident site.
