KOTTAYAM: A bar employee was taken into custody for provocative behaviour at customers who questioned the quantity of alcohol being supplied. The incident took place at Vempally Ekachakra Residency in Kuruvilangad. Kumarakom native Biju C. Raju (42), an employee of the bar was arrested by Kuruvilangad police.

The new bar was inaugurated at Vempally South Junction on Sunday. Biju threw a tantrum after getting incensed by a customer who questioned the quantity of alcohol being supplied. The employee first pushed and later threw a glass at the customer which worsened the whole issue. Biju later started attacking all customers at the counter and even threw glasses at some. The footage of the incident in the bar has been released. There is also a complaint about Biju beating up a few locals behind the bar.
