NEW DELHI: Delhi Chief Minister-designate Rekha Gupta said she will implement many schemes giving priority to women. She also said that her goal is a safe Delhi. Rekha Gupta was talking to the media ahead of the swearing-in ceremony. 'All the promises made by the BJP during the election campaign will be implemented. More schemes that prioritize women will be implemented. People's support should continue. Delhi will be given a new face, the trust given by the people will be maintained, and the people living in the national capital will be happy,' said Rekha Gupta.

Six ministers will take oath along with Rekha Gupta today. Parvesh Verma, Ashish Sood, Majinder Singh, Ravinder Indraj Singh, Pankaj Kumar Singh and Kapil Mishra will take oath. The Governor will administer the oath to Rekha Gupta at 12:30 pm today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other senior leaders of the NDA will attend the swearing-in ceremony. Bollywood stars and spiritual leaders have been invited to the ceremony. Rekha Gupta is an MLA from Shalimar Bagh constituency, national vice-president of BJP Mahila Morcha and member of the BJP National Executive Committee.
