KOCHI: The two-day Invest Kerala Global Summit (IKGS), which Kerala is awaiting eagerly, begins tomorrow. The Chief Minister will inaugurate it at 10 am at the Lulu Bolgatty International Convention Centre.

The government has high hopes for Invest Kerala, which aims to provide new opportunities for investors and entrepreneurs and achieve major development. The opposition has announced its support, giving hope to the entrepreneurial sector.

The Chief Minister, who will be participating in the summit full-time, arrived in Kochi this evening. After assessing the preparations, he held a meeting with the representatives. Ministers of key departments related to industry and high-ranking officials led by Chief Secretary Saradha Muraleedharan have arrived. The preparations have been completed under the leadership of Principal Secretary A. P. M. Mohammed Hanish.

3,000 delegates

Investor groups, including foreign and non-resident investors, have arrived. Three thousand representatives were selected from six thousand applications. Diplomatic representatives from 26 countries and ministers from Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, and Zimbabwe will participate. 200 speakers will speak in 30 panel discussions. Representatives of chambers of commerce, including those from Gulf countries, are also participating. Germany, Vietnam, Norway, Australia, Malaysia, and France are partners of Invest Kerala.
