ALAPPUZHA: A case will be likely charged against a woman and her paramour over her husband’s suicide. Last October, Punnapra native Ramshad was found dead at his residence. Ramshad's father approached the court demanding that a case be filed against his daughter-in-law Samina, her boyfriend Manoj and Samina's mother.

The Ambalapuzha Judicial First Class Magistrate Court has ruled that a case should be filed against Samina and Manoj. Ramshad's father alleged witnessing frequent arguments between the couple over Samina’s very close relationship with Manoj.

In the petition, it is said that Ramshad committed suicide after confronting his wife over her strange relationship with Manoj. Ramshad and Samina married in 2020.
