KOCHI: Vigilance is all set to probe further into the dealings of Ernakulam RTO Jerson, arrested in a bribery case. A vigilance letter has been issued to the Registration IG seeking details of Jerson's assets.

Vigilance has so far received five complaints against him. It is reported that Jerson apart from taking bribes, also forced his subordinates to take it and share the money with him. Jerson and two other agents who aided in taking bribes are being interrogated. Another complaint is also registered against Jerson for siphoning Rs 75 lakh.

Even to pass a trivial work, Jerson would demand booze and money. He even collected money on the pretext of bribing vigilance officers to not conduct a raid on the office. It was also found that Jerson, the second accused Sajesh and the third accused Rampadiyar were in contact with each other through WhatsApp calls.

According to the vigilance report, the evidence was obtained from their phones. The vigilance team recovered 49 bottles of foreign liquor from Jerson's house.
