MALAPPURAM: The Changaramkulam police have seized a KSRTC bus involved in a hit-and-run accident, which left a 70-year-old man critically injured. The KSRTC bus, operating on the Aluva-Kozhikode route, was apprehended at the Aluva depot by an investigation team led by Changaramkulam CI Shine.

The accident occurred on February 10 at around 5 p.m., when the bus collided with Kunjali (70) at the Edappal Kannanchira descent on the Kuttippuram-Thrissur state highway. The bus did not stop after hitting the scooter Kunjali was riding.

Civil Police Officer Sujith conducted a thorough investigation, focusing on CCTV footage from the area. This led to the identification and capture of the bus involved in the incident. Kunjali remains in critical condition at a private hospital in Thrissur.
