KATTAPPANA: A youth died after his car lost control and crashed into a crash barrier on the roadside. The accident took place at around 11 pm on Friday at Vallakadavu, Kattappana. The deceased is Robin Joseph (32) of Thannippara, Vallakadavu. The impact of the crash penetrated the barrier to enter inside the car, crushing Robin's head and came out through the back. Led by local resident and municipal council member Manoj Murali, the locals immediately broken open the vehicle and pulled Robin out, but his life could not be saved.
