MALAPPURAM: After his mother scolded him, a boy of second class reached the fire force station with a complaint. The boy walked alone four kilometers to reach the fire force station. The boy walked from Irumbuzhi to Malappuram fire force station. He reached the fire station thinking it was a police station. The employees there immediately contacted the boy’s father and the Child Line. The boy was brought home safely by the Child Line workers.

The boy reached the front of the fire force station the other day around noon. An employee, who noticed him inquired about the matter. He immediately replied that his mother had kicked him out of the house. As the boy was exhausted, the officials ordered food for him. He was later found very active. They later informed his parents. The officials said the boy studies in a nearby school.

Officials told media that such an incident is happening for the first time. After conducting an investigation as per the child's statement, he was sent back with his family. After reaching home, he told his mother that he had tried to go to the police station.
