THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A man committed suicide after killing his wife at Kuttiyani in Vattappara. After killing his wife Jayalakshmi, the man identified as Balachandran ended his life. The two were found dead at home in the afternoon. Jayalakshmi's body was found with her throat slit and Balachandran was found hanging. Jayalakshmi was undergoing treatment for quite some time. The couple has two sons. One is a police officer and the other is an auto driver. The two were found dead when one of his son’s wife came with food. The police reached the spot and started the inquest proceedings.
