ALAPPUZHA: Two officials, who registered a ganja case against U Prathibha MLA’s son, have been directed to appear at the excise commissioner’s office in Thiruvananthapuram. Kuttanad excise circle inspector Jayaraj and range inspector Anil Kumar have been summoned to appear. The action was taken on the complaint filed by Pratibha MLA against the officers who registered a case against her son.


The Kuttanad Excise registered a ganja case against Prathibha's son and his friends and released them on bail on December 28. The MLA filed a complaint alleging that this was a fake case. The statement of the entire group who arrested the MLA's son was recorded the other day. Nine including the MLA's son were arrested that day. The MLA's son was the ninth accused. They were arrested from the Thakazhi bridge.
