KOZHIKODE: Violence broke out in a hotel in Kozhikode over Yemeni dish Kuzhimanthi. The incident took place in a hotel in Karanthur. The assailants perturbed over the whole incident unleashed violence and broke two window panes. Two people, who were having food inside the hotel suffered injuries.

The incident happened last night. The youngsters demanded that the hotel supply Kuzhimanthi for three at just Rs 100. A small altercation took place after the hotel employees denied it. The youngsters, after a heated debate with hotel staff, went out and pelted stones at the window panes.

A woman and her toddler, who were having food inside suffered injuries in the stone pelting attack. Kunnamangalam police are investigating the incident.
