KALPETTA: A female employee of principal agriculture office in Wayanad Collectorate attempted suicide. The clerk attempted suicide by slitting her wrist in the washroom of the office. She attempted suicide alleging mental harassment by her colleague and joint council leader Prajith. She also mentioned that Prajith had portrayed her in a bad light during a sitting over the complaint filed.

She had filed a complaint with the internal complaints committee regarding this. While this complaint was pending, she was transferred illegally. There was a women's commission sitting today on the complaint filed by her. She was portrayed badly here also.
