GUDALUR: A leopard was hit by a bike on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border at the Kambipalam bridge. The impact of the hit caused the tiger and the bike rider to fall on the road. The accident occurred while the tiger was crossing the road. The leopard lay on the road immobile for some time and later ran away into the forest. The footage of the incident has been released.

Rajan, a native of Gudalur, escaped with minor injuries. Rajan was admitted to the hospital by locals. The bike hit the leopard around 8 am this morning. The leopard, who had lost consciousness after being hit by the bike, was lying on the road when the footage was captured by people in another vehicle. While they were calling the forest office, the big cat ran away and hid in the forest.
