THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The details of the statement of accused Afaan in the Venjaramoodu massacre case, have surfaced. Before killing his girlfriend Farsana, he told her about the other murders he committed. He killed her brutally after confessing to her. He told all these things in his statement to the Pangode police.

When she asked him how will they live, he hit Farsana, who was sitting in a chair, with a hammer. Afaan’s paternal grandmother Salma Beevi constantly blamed his mother for her debts. This led to his enmity with Salma Beevi. He didn’t want to kill his paternal uncle Latheef's wife. Afaan told police that he killed her thinking that she would reveal the murder of Latheef. Afaan murdered four of his family and also his girlfriend Farsana.
