KOZHIKODE: A newlywed bride was found hanging dead in her husband's house in Kozhikode on Saturday. Ardra Balakrishnan (24), a resident of Cheliya, Kozhikode, was found dead last night. Ardra was found hanging in the bathroom of her husband Shan’s house in Payyoli.

Shan’s family members said that Ardra, who went to take a bath at 8 pm on Friday, didn’t come out even after one hour. This forced the family to barge into the room and find her hanging from the ceiling. Shaan and Ardra got married on February 2. Ardra's uncle, Aravindan, demanded a thorough investigation into the incident.
