VIZHINJAM: Two people who went for a swim with their friends after a football game were swept away by the wave. One died. Inshad (21), the younger son of Iqbal and Waseedah, died in the accident that took place at around 7.15 pm last night on the beach behind the Vizhinjam Inspection Bungalow in Vizhinjam Township Colony. Nayimudin (21), the son of Tajuddin and Zainaba, who were with them, was rescued by the locals. The two were caught in a strong wave that occurred while bathing in the sea. The people who were with them got scared and went to the shore and informed the locals. The locals rushed to the shore and brought both of them to the shore, but Inshad was dead. Inshad was a degree student at Ambalathara National College. Infad and Irshad are his brother.
