THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A suicide note was found on the table in the room where a plus two student, Darshan, was found hanging. It says that he had difficulties recalling what he had studied for the exams and that he was worried if he could achieve good grades.

Darshan, son of a KSRTC driver Ratheesh and Rajalakshmi, was found hanging in the M.R.A. T-40 Darshaniya at Thachankara Lane in Maruthamkuzhi. The deceased is R. Darshan (17). He is a computer science student at Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Vazhuthakaud.

He died before the exams began today. After the postmortem, the body is at the Medical College Hospital. The cremation will be held at Shanthikavadam at 11 am tomorrow. The school principal, Ashalatha, said that he does not know why Darshan, who excelled in studies and art, committed suicide.

Darshan won first place in the tabla competition at the Kalolsavam. He also was active last Sunday at the Sri Krishna Swamy temple in Kesavapuram.
