KOCHI: A boy of ninth class abused his sister sexually in Kochi. The girl studying in sixth class was abused by her brother at home. After feeling pain on her private parts, she told her friend about it.

The incident came to light when her friend narrated the incident to their teacher. The school authorities then informed the child welfare committee. A case was registered based on the complaint of the child welfare committee. The incident happened in December 2024. It is learnt that her brother is addicted to drugs. The Palarivattom police have registered a case and an investigation has started into the incident.
