Actress Manju Pathrose reacted angrily to the incident where a tenth-class boy was brutally beaten to death. The dead identified as Shahabaz, a 10th class student in Kozhikode, was beaten to death by his classmates. We cannot bear to see that boy’s face which we haven’t seen. Instead of giving them exemplary punishment, what is happening here, Manju Pathrose asked in a post shared on social media.

'Can any parents forgive these acts? You will not go unpunished for the wrong you have done. Go and look at his eyes' you said with a smile? I would have landed in jail if this had happened to my son. Need not say for what,’ said Manju Pathrose.

I am the mother of an 18-year-old son. I have been watching him grow. My life revolves around him. I had cried in front of the LKG class and there is no surprise, because he is my soul. If he injures his fingers, I will lose sleep. If his voice breaks, will keep calling until I know the reason. I will not be sure until he swears.

There are many parents like me. A parent like us lost their beloved son recently. Killed him. Friends who should have walked hand in hand. There are many people to argue for them and allow them to write exams. Can any parent forgive these actions. We, who have never seen that child's face, cannot tolerate it.
