LAHORE: It is India-New Zealand final in the champions trophy final this year. The semifinal on Wednesday witnessed three centuries as New Zealand defeated South Africa by 50 runs in the semi-final to reach the Champions Trophy final after 19 years.

Batting first, New Zealand scored 362 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs, thanks to centuries from Rachin Ravindra (108) and Kane Williamson (102). In reply, South Africa got off to a good start but crumbled in the face of New Zealand's spin attack and fell for yet another semi-final jinx. They could only manage 312 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 50 overs.

David Miller (100* off 67 balls) helped South Africa surpass three hundred by his batting fireworks in the last overs and scoring a century on the last ball of the innings. Miller scored 48 runs from the last three overs. Miller's innings included 10 fours and 4 sixes. Apart from Miller, captain Temba Bavuma (56) and Dusan (69) were the only South African batsmen to perform well.

Captain Mitchell Santner took three wickets, while Glenn Phillips and Matt Henry took two wickets each for New Zealand. Rachin was selected as the man of the match.
