KOCHI: A 15-year-old boy was brutally assaulted by his seniors at a school in Thrippunithura. The victim is a class 10 student from Chinmaya School in Thrippunithura. A dispute over a female friend reportedly led to the assault. The 15-year-old was assaulted by a group of five Plus Two students. One of the attackers is 18 years old.

The assault took place on March 3rd at the school. The boy's relatives informed the police about the incident yesterday. The 15-year-old suffered serious injuries to his nose during the attack. The bone of his nose was fractured. He also lost one tooth in the attack. The student is still undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kochi. The police have stated that further action will be taken against the students involved in the assault.
