NEW DELHI: An 18-year-old Indian boy has set the Guinness World Record for the hairiest face of a male. Lalit Patidar, who has 201.72 hair per square centimeter, holds the record. Lalit has a rare medical condition called hypertrichosis, which causes 95 percent of his face to be covered in hair. It is also called 'werewolf syndrome'. So far, 50 cases have been reported in the world.

Lalit has faced teasing and criticism since childhood due to the rare condition. He said that his classmates were afraid of him. It was only when he started talking that his classmates realized that he was a person like them. Lalit said that the only difference was on the outside, but he was no different on the inside.

'Initially, many people behaved badly. But today, such cases are rare. Most people behave normally. There are a few who speak unkindly according to each individual. Many people say that I should remove facial hair. I like myself. I don't want to change my appearance,' Lalit clarified.

Not only does he hold a world record, but he also has millions of followers on Instagram and YouTube. He also does vlogs through this. Lalit said that he gets full support and encouragement from his family for all this. Lalit's biggest wish is to travel the world and understand different cultures.
