KASARGOD: A girl and a youth, who went missing from Paivalike in Kasaragod three weeks ago, have been found dead. The 15-year-old girl and the 42-year-old youth, a local resident, went missing 26 days ago. Both were found hanging from a tree in the grounds of Mandekapu near the girl's house.

The tenth-class student went missing since February 12. Pradeep, a local resident, was also missing since the day the girl went missing. The bodies were found in a joint search by the police and the locals. Mobile phones of the two were found nearby. There was also a knife nearby. Police said that they had also examined the CCTVs in the area. However, the police clarified that there was no foul smell. Police said the inquest proceedings will be completed soon.
