PUNE: The young man who urinated in public on the roadside after coming in a luxury car has apologized. Ahuja, a native of Pune, posted a video of himself apologizing before surrendering to the police. He later surrendered to the police. The police had earlier registered a case against him for urinating in a public place.

Ahuja, who arrived in his BMW car, stopped the vehicle on the road and urinated near the divider. Although many people, including women, were passing by, Ahuja did not care. In the video, a person holding a beer bottle can be seen sitting inside the car.

Ahuja left the place after urinating, but after some time the video of the incident went viral on social media. There were a lot of comments against Ahuja. Following this, the video of the apology was posted. "I Gaurav Ahuja, living in Pune, I’m very shameful for yesterday’s act, which I did myself. I really apologise to all the people of Pune, Maharashtra, and India, and I really apologise to the police department and Shinde sahib. Please forgive me and give me a chance, it will never happen again. I’m really sorry," Ahuja says with folded hands in the video.

Police say Ahuja may have been drunk when he urinated on the roadside. He has been subjected to a medical examination. He will be produced in court soon.
