THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An attack on a medical shop for not providing sleeping pills without a doctor's prescription. The incident took place in Neyyattinkara. A four-member gang arrived with deadly weapons and carried out the attack. The attack took place at Apollo Pharmacy near Neyyattinkara police station.

The attack took place at 2 am today. The assailants tried to break the glass door using stones and bricks. When this failed, they damaged the bike parked in front with a sword. According to the complaint filed by the medical shop owners, the gang demanded sleeping pills, which are used as narcotic substitutes by drug users. Following the complaint, the police reached the spot and collected CCTV footage. The Neyyattinkara police said that a case will be registered in the incident.
