ADIMALI: KSRTC bus falls into river near Irumpupalam. The accident took place near Cheriyapalam at around 6.50 pm today. The bus, which was going from Udumalpet to Adimali and heading towards Kothamangalam, lost control and fell into the river.

The roadside was dug using a soil excavation machine in connection with the construction of the national highway. The bus fell into this pit and got stuck with its front end deep in soil, thus avoiding further accidents. No one was seriously injured in the accident.
