KOCHI: Abhiraj, SFI leader and union office bearer of Kalamassery College, said that he has not used items like ganja so far. Abhiraj, arrested in the case had been granted station bail earlier. His response was soon after that.

Abhiraj's words
'When I was near the workshop, saw 10-20 police vehicles coming. Me, Adithyan and one student from the chemical department came running. The area was full of vehicles and people. More people were in Adil's room. Items were recovered from here and asked if the room was mine. I said, Sir, this is not my room and told them that my room is upstairs.

When he said that he is in the union and there is a programme in the college tomorrow, they asked so what should we do. They then said are you trying to escape using the influence of the party.

When I showed them my room, they asked, 'Is this your room? There are items in your room. There was nothing in my cupboard, shirt or pants. I have not used any of these items so far. I have been studying in this college for three years. Have behaved well with all the teachers and students.

I was behind in my studies in the first year. There are a lot of supplementary. Started studying from the third year and is clearing all my supplementary. In the meanwhile, being blamed for the things which I am not aware of. These are things which I don’t know. I was first taken to Akash's room. When I said that I am a member of the union and wanted to go, they shouted at me and asked me not to go and took me upstairs. Akash is also like me,' said Abhiraj.
