Palakkad: Two KSEB employees tragically lost their lives in separate electrocution incidents in Attappadi, Palakkad, and Athirappilly, Thrissur.

In the first incident, 52-year-old Nanchan, a temporary worker from Nellipathy, was electrocuted while installing an electric line at Cheerakkadavu in Attappadi. The incident occurred when the wire from the electric pole made contact with a nearby high-tension line. Despite being rushed to Kottathara Hospital, Nanchan could not be saved.

In the second incident, 53-year-old lineman CK Reji was electrocuted while repairing an electric post at Athirappilly Junction around 5:30 PM. Reji succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
