KOZHIKODE: New CCTV footage has surfaced, showing the 13-year-old girl who went missing from Thamarassery recently, arriving at a lodge in Thrissur. The footage, captured on March 14, shows the girl reaching a lodge near the KSRTC bus stand. However, she was denied a room due to the absence of identification documents. A lodge staff member, who later recognized her from news reports, handed over the footage to the police.

The girl was accompanied by a relative at the time. She had gone missing from Perumpally, Thamarassery, after leaving home for school at 9 AM on Tuesday to attend an exam but never returned. A student of Puthuppadi Government School, she was last seen with another young male relative, who also went missing the same day. Her parents had previously lodged a complaint against this individual.
