Recently, a reel of Kollam Sudhi's wife and Dasettan Kozhikode together went viral on social media. The two made a reel for a song (Chandu kudanjoru sooryan) from the film Chanthupottu. There were many negative comments below this.
In an interview given to a YouTube channel, Renu Sudhi responded to such a comment. The comment reads 'A woman who agrees to let someone touch her body and stomach to feed her children. She could have done a different reel than this'.
'My God, aren't I the one to decide which song should I do a reel for? Or do these people decide that? They asked 'Are you doing a reel to feed your children?' Who told you that I'm doing the reel to feed my children?' asked Renu.
I am a theatre artist. Doing theatre is my profession. Of course, it is to feed my children. Doing a reel is my choice. My stomach is held by someone in front of the camera. It's not that we are doing it somewhere secretly. This is acting. I'm telling this to the fake who commented this. I never said anywhere that I'm doing the reel to feed my children. If it is an intimate scene that I have to do, then I will act accordingly. I'm an artist.'- Renu Sudhi clarified.
There was a comment that I look like the mother of the sister who was raped and killed in Perumbavoor. If I look like that sister's mother, I'm only happy to hear that. I like them. There are people who commented that I look like a mouse. I like mouse. It's a living creature. Such comments doesn't matter to me. However, don't be verbally abusive to me. It doesn't matter if you say I'm not good looking or that I have the teeth of someone who uses Hans. But don't abuse. That's all'- Renu responded.
