KOTTAYAM: A youth has been arrested for trying to kill a child. The arrested is Sreejith (28) of Akalakunnam Mattakkara Aalekkunnel. He was arrested in 2024 for murdering the child’s father. The accused remanded and released on bail tried to kill the boy.

The incident happened last Thursday when the child was coming back from school. The accused tried to run over the child from behind. As the child ran aside, he escaped from his hands.
