MALAPPURAM: The education department has permitted a student to re-write her exam after her invigilator withheld her answer sheet during Plus Two economics exam at KMHSS at Kottoor in Malappuram. The invigilator withheld her answer sheet for nearly half-an-hour. Regional deputy director P M Anil said the student can write the paper as SAY exam and she can consider it as her first exam.

The regional deputy director visited her today. He said that he visited her to find a solution if she is mentally disturbed. He spoke to her and her mother. She can write the exam along with the SAY exam. He said that he will consider more demands.

The invigilator withheld her economics answer sheet. Action was taken against the invigilator on her complaint. While talking to the media, the student said that she is happy on the action taken by the education department.
