PATHANAMTHITTA: A student came to write the SSLC exam in an inebriated condition at the school in Kozhencherry. The teacher, who felt strange seeing the student's behavior sitting in the exam hall, examined his bag. He found a bottle of liquor and Rs 10,000 in the bag.

The student was then expelled from the class. His parents came and took him home. The police said the money seen in the bag was collected to celebrate after the exams. He was sent without writing the exam.
