MALAPPURAM: A man and his son had a tragic end after their scooter lost control and fell into a well. The incident happened at Kadampuzha in Malappuram. The dead are Hussain of Marakkara and his son Faris. Though the two were rushed to the hospital, their lives could not be saved.

The accident happened Monday morning at around 10 am. The scooter was driven by Faris. While descending, the scooter fell into a well near a house on the road. The two fell into the well along with the scooter after breaking the wall. The two sustained serious injuries in the fall. They were taken out and rushed to the hospital immediately after the accident, but died. The fire force arrived and took the scooter out. The accident happened while they were returning home after visiting relatives and after offering namaz at the mosque. Their house is one kilometer away from the accident spot.
