MALAPPURAM: The death toll in the road accident that happened in Gundlupet have risen to three. The third dead is Abdul Aziz from Morayur Athikunnu Mammi. Abdul Aziz is the father of Mohammed Shahzad and Muskanul Firdous, who died in the accident yesterday.

The accident occurred near Bendagalli Gate in Gundlupete, Karnataka yesterday morning. A family of seven, including two children of Kondotty Arimbra in Malappuram, were involved in the accident. The police had informed yesterday that the children are safe. A Kondotty registration car and a Karnataka registration traveller collided. The car was heading towards Karnataka.

Those sitting in the front lost their lives. Two sustained serious injuries. The police identified the dead as Malayalees using the vehicle number.
