WASHINGTON: NASA astronaut and Indian-origin Sunita Williams, who was stuck in the space station for nine months due to technical problems in her spacecraft, returned to Earth in the last week of March. Now, Sunita has shared the joy of being back with her two most beloved people.
Sunita had previously shared that the thing she misses the most while on the space station is the early morning walks with her pet dogs. Now, Sunita has shared a video of reuniting with her pet dogs after a long break.

Sunita's pet dogs are Labrador retrievers-Gunner and Gorby. In the video, the dogs express their happiness with Sunita as soon as she opened the door and came out of the house. However, after standing next to Sunita for a while, both dogs run away. Sunita is also seen in the footage asking in frustration if they are fighting or showing anger towards her.
After months of waiting, Sunita Williams and her team safely returned to Earth on March 18. Sunita and Butch Wilmore had been stranded on the station since June 2024 due to a malfunction in their spacecraft. Nick Hague and Gorbunov arrived at the station in September. There were also big celebrations in Sunita Williams' hometown of Gujarat on her return.
