MALAPPURAM: In a tragic incident, a woman fell and died while travelling on a motorbike with her son. The deceased has been identified as Padinjarekkara native Sabira (38). The accident took place at Ashanpadi in Kootayi, Tirur.

The accident took place this afternoon. Sabira fell from the motorbike when her son applied the brake and stopped the motorbike after the scooter in front suddenly applied the brake. Sabira sustained a serious head injury due to the fall. Although she was rushed to the Medical College Hospital, she succumbed to her injuries.
