KOCHI: Private bus employees were involved in a dramatic clash on the road over schedule issues. The incident resembled a movie fight scene, with an iron rod, cutting blade (billhook) and swearing.

The conflict began with a verbal argument about not adhering to the schedule. This escalated into a physical fight while passengers were still inside the bus. As tensions rose, passengers disembarked. Employees then leapt out of the bus in a cinematic fashion and attacked another bus coming from Paravur. A video showing the bus being damaged is now widely circulating on social media. It remains unclear whether a complaint has been filed with the police regarding this incident.

Conflicts among private bus drivers over scheduling are a common occurrence in Kochi. These disputes often take place without any regard for the passengers present.
