KAZHAKOOTTAM: A young man died after his bike lost control in Kadinamkulam and crashed into a shop wall. Kristudas (36) was the son of Stancila-Raichal couple of Marianadu Arthiyil house, Kadinamkulam. The incident took place around 10 pm on Saturday. He was going from Perumathura to Marianadu on a bike with a friend when he crashed into the wall of a shop near the old SBI near Pudukkuruchi Church. Both of them were injured in the impact and Kristudas died on the way to the hospital in a 108 ambulance. The young man who was riding along with Kristudas is undergoing treatment. Jeeva is the wife of the deceased Kristudas. Saiva and Maria are their children. Accidents are common on the coastal road. This is the third accidental death in the last two weeks. Two days ago, a young man from Mundanchira, Kadinamkulam, died in an accident, and a week ago, a young man from Shanthipuram died in an accident. The increase in accidents is due to excessive speed and careless riding.
