KASARGOD: Four people were hacked on the fourth mile in Kasargod. A verbal dispute that broke out in connection with the bursting of crackers, led to the attack. The incident happened last night and the victims have been admitted to the hospital. The locals had questioned bursting of crackers in front of their house at night. The youths who left the place, returned with weapons and attacked the locals. The police have arrested three in connection with the incident. Police said an investigation is being conducted. The injured said the attackers are addicted to drugs.
