LUCKNOW: In a shocking case of social media recklessness, a youth was arrested for filming a dangerous reel while lying on a railway track in an apparent bid to gain online fame. The incident took place in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. The accused, Ranjit Chaurasia, was taken into custody soon after the video went viral.

On social media, he has been mockingly referred to as "Reelputra." He was seen lying on the railway track in an extremely risky manner. Even as the train approached, he refused to move and remained on the track until the train passed over him. Ranjit Chaurasia had posted the video on Instagram, after which it quickly gained widespread attention.

The reel sparked significant backlash for spreading a dangerous and negative message to society. Many users tagged the police while sharing the video, which eventually led to his arrest by the Railway Police.
