THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The results of the MBA third-semester exams, including those of 65 students who had to retake a special exam due to lost answer sheets, are expected to be announced by Kerala University today. The incident occurred when 71 answer sheets were lost by a teacher while travelling. This teacher, Pramod, who worked at the Poojappura Institute of Cooperative Management, has been permanently dismissed. The cost of conducting the special exam will be recovered from the college where he worked.
A report prepared by the Registrar, Controller of Examinations, and Director of IQAC highlighted these actions. Additionally, the university plans to verify the qualifications of all guest teachers at the college. To prevent similar issues in the future, new measures will be implemented. These include issuing IDs to teachers and introducing enrolment registration for better monitoring during evaluations.
